Hey guys! I had the opportunity to shoot at the elegant and luxurious LeVeque Tower. The building holds a hotel, condos, apartments, offices, restaurant, and bar. The second tallest building in Columbus focuses on creating a luxury living experience in the Columbus downtown area. Given the upscale feel and modern design, I had to turn up the notch with my outfit.

However, without trying to do too much or get out of my element, I paired a printed dress shirt with modern fitting pants from Express, and black Chelsea boots. You could definitely add a blazer to the outfit, but I choose to layer it with a textured vanilla cardigan. I didn't even put on the cardigan, just wrapped it around my neck - it's a simple style trick that elevates the overall appearance.

The experience inside The LeVeque is breathtaking. You honestly don't feel like you're in Columbus - you truly feel like you're in a bigger city such as Chicago. The Keep, a modern French brasserie styled restaurant pictured above, adds a luxury speakeasy type feel drawing travelers and event-goers. If you're thinking about visiting Columbus or looking for a grandeur living experience, look no further than The LeVeque.

Alright, that's it for this week - let me know what you like most about the outfit and / or any ideas that you have that could add to this outfit. As always, thanks for reading!

Breaking The Rules With Black and Brown

Once upon a time, men were told not to wear black and brown together; similar to avoid combining black with navy. Realistically, black has a really hard time pairing with anything other than grey and white. I think it’s because as soon as it sits next to another color, the black starts to look less rich and deep.

However, when it comes to wearing brown with black, for example brown boots with black jeans, this is something you can easily incorporate into your own looks. You want to choose a brown in contrasting tone and texture where possible. With this outfit, I was actually hesitant to wear this camel/brown coat from Asos with black pants and a black turtle neck. But, I decided to take the risk and I couldn't be happier with how it came out.

It's already one of my favorite new looks and to give a casual vibe, I added a pair white sneakers. It's comfortable look that easily stands out with all the navy, grey, and black we see in the winter. The coat is my favorite part of the outfit - it definitely helps gives that extra swag:)

Alright, that's it for this week - let me know what you like most about the outfit and / or any ideas that you have that could add to this outfit!

The Best Way to Start Your Day

Hey guys, I'm really excited to go on this fitness journey with you. I've always been a huge believer of taking care of yourself, especially as it applies to eating healthy and hitting the gym. However, I've decided to commit to going to the next level by working with a fitness coach. It has definitely heightened my awareness and focus to detail in the gym.

I have a long way to go and it doesn't happen overnight, but I think it's one of the best ways to take your personal growth in the right direction. Whatever your goals are, taking care of yourself - your mental and physical health should be the first priority. It's one of those things, if you can't take care of yourself, how are you going to excel at your job, or run a business, or manage other people.

It starts with being aware and accepting that you don't know everything. The next step is to commit and educate yourself. Then it's go time. You have to be comfortable with failure. There are guys way bigger then me in the gym, I'm still learning how to lift properly, eat properly, etc. It's a journey, but it starts with you not being afraid to fail. I wake up every morning and hit the gym to get my day started. Tag it with meditation and a cold shower - you're going to start feeling like a winner fast.

Happy to help and answer any questions. Thanks for reading and see you guys in 2018!

Cheers,

Navi
